Project Description:

ESSA.app is a Polish, accelerator-backed career platform that helps people move from job discovery to a stronger application in one mobile experience. Its AI-powered tools cover vacancy matching, resume creation and adaptation, grammar and translation support, interview preparation, and video-based practice.

The product is designed for practical career progress. Users can build a structured resume, import professional information, search for relevant roles, compare match scores, practice spoken answers with a career assistant, and prepare for real interviews without switching between separate services.

Process

The engagement began under a strict accelerator and grant deadline. We shaped the product scope and assembled a cross-functional team of more than 10 specialists across product, design, mobile, backend, quality assurance, and delivery to launch a functional AI-powered mobile MVP in about four weeks.

Phase one delivered the AI resume builder, six resume templates, LinkedIn import, document export, video resumes, and an AI interview trainer. The Android production release followed in May 2025, while interview scripts and learning content could be updated through Google Sheets without waiting for a new app release.

In the second funded phase, we reused the same mobile foundation instead of restarting. The roadmap expanded into a job board, AI-assisted resume adaptation, a hybrid paywall, new authentication flows, separated environments, release automation, and an updated profile layer.

Results

ESSA.app progressed from an accelerator concept to a live product in the stores and reached 100K installs. The first market-ready version was delivered in four weeks, and the product secured two funded development phases.

The reusable architecture supported a broader end-to-end career journey: users can now discover vacancies, strengthen and adapt a resume, practice voice and video interviews, and receive immediate AI-assisted guidance inside one product.
